Lilla Edets Riding Club is looking for an Operations Manager

Are you a dedicated leader with a passion for horses and community involvement? Lilla Edets Riding Club is now seeking an operations manager who wants to be part of developing our club to the next level.

About Lilla Edets Riding Club: Lilla Edets Riding Club (LERK) is a non-profit association with 163 members that has been offering horseback riding and horse activities for all ages and levels since its inception. We strive to create a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of background or experience, can experience the joy of horses. With a strong focus on community, quality, and horse well-being, we are a growing club that is now seeking an operations manager to lead and develop our operations.

About the role: As the operations manager, you have a key role in driving and developing our association. You will have the overall responsibility for the daily operations, including personnel management, activity planning, close collaboration with our dedicated board, and financial monitoring. You will act as a central point of contact for members, parents, and the board, ensuring that our activities maintain high quality and that our members are happy. In addition, you will also have some teaching hours.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Personnel matters

• Planning and coordinating riding lessons, competitions, and other club activities

• Reporting to the board

• Developing and implementing strategies to increase the club's visibility and membership base

• Maintaining and developing partnerships with external stakeholders and sponsors

• Ensuring a safe and secure environment for both people and horses

• Riding lessons at various levels and disciplines

• Training of school horses

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in the horse industry or a non-profit organization.

• Has documented leadership experience and is a clear and inspiring leader.

• Is structured and self-driven, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Has knowledge of budgeting and financial planning.

• Is a good communicator who enjoys building relationships and networks.

• Has a great passion for horses and is dedicated to developing young riders.

• Has a driver's license

Merits:

• Experience working in riding school activities in a similar position.

• Education in riding instruction or other relevant education in the horse industry, at least SRL 2

• Previous experience in association work or board assignments.

• BE driver's license

Type of employment

• Permanent

• Scope 75% with access by agreement. Work on evenings and weekends may occur.

• Monthly salary
